Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Houston, Texas. This role is in the financial industry, where you'll be working to assist the client in data manipulation of their accounting records from QuickBooks to NetSuite.Responsibilities: Utilize skills in Journal Entries, Microsoft Excel, NetSuite, VLOOKUP, Data Migration, and QuickBooks to maintain and analyze accounting records.

Ensure data integrity within NetSuite, our primary accounting software, through regular data migration and updates.Requirements Demonstrated ability in preparing and posting journal entries Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of VLOOKUP Experience with NetSuite or similar financial management software Familiarity with data migration processes and best practices Previous experience with QuickBooks Ability to perform complex accounting activities with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proven problem-solving and analytical abilities Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field Relevant certification such as CPA would be advantageous Demonstrable knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
