Description We are offering a role for a Corporate Accountant in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will be working in the construction industry, specifically focusing on billing for electrical projects. Your responsibilities will involve various accounting functions including the use of different ERP solutions and software systems. Responsibilities: Familiarize yourself with the construction industry, with emphasis on electrical project billing Handle G702/703 forms and change orders Process lien waivers and COIs Utilize different software systems such as Procore, Sage, and Textura for various accounting functions Work on Accounts Payable (AP), Auditing, and Budget Processes Handle Cash Activity and CapEx Use ADP - Financial Services for financial management Contribute to ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions for efficient resource planning Analyze and interpret accounting data and prepare reports. Requirements Must possess knowledge and proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Experience with ADP - Financial Services is essential Familiarity with CapEx is required Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is crucial Knowledge of ERP Solutions is necessary Ability to handle Accounting Functions effectively Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is required Must have a good understanding of Auditing principles and procedures Experience in Budget Processes is a key requirement Ability to manage Cash Activity effectively A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are necessary Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills are required Must have excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
