Business Assurance & Controls Manager

Lead on Business Risk Assurance and Controls as an SME. Develop trusted relationships with business leaders and teams to deliver workshops, provide risk assurance advice, and control testing services. Flexible working at either our Melbourne or Sydney Office.Established in 1988, Rest is one of Australia’s largest profit-to-member superannuation funds.We support nearly two million members, with around $86 billion of funds under management and are recognised as a responsible investment leader. To put it simply we want our people to thrive and love the work they do.As the Business Assurance and Controls Manager, you will support leadership of the Business Assurance and Strategic Support Team in the provision of control assurance services over critical operations and material service providers. You will also provide advice, subject matter expertise, and advisory services to line 1 risk and the business across the critical process’s obligations, processes and change.Complete Assurance Reviews across the Material Service Providers Assurance Plans, consistent with their level of criticality and risk. Provide control testing education, advice and training to first line risk teams and the broader business. Develop and execute the controls assurance plans across Rest’s critical operations. Provide advice and support for the identification of risks, controls, obligations, business and regulatory change on critical operations.Facilitate risk and control assessment workshops.  Support the annual critical operations assurance attestation and reporting process to group executives and the board.  Support the implementation of CPS230 and associated business resilience practices
