Accounts Payable Clerk

Description Non-profit organization looking for an Accounts Payable ClerkResponsibilities: Perform accounts payable duties, ensuring accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing and monitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts Handle data entry tasks, ensuring that all financial data is up-to-date and entered accurately Provide finance assistance as required, aiding in various finance-related tasks to support the department Utilize the MIP software for various accounting tasks (training can be provided if necessary) Prepare, verify, and process invoices and coding payment documents Prepare batches of invoices for data entry Manage weekly cheque runs for 50-60 checks a week and ACH payments Record all checks, prepare bank deposits and carry out bank transactions Conduct thorough reviews into invoice discrepancies and issues Perform regular vendor statement reconciliations Utilize Microsoft Excel to keep organized records and create reports.Requirements Proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Excel is a must. Strong skills in invoice entry, code invoices, entering invoices, and vendor invoices. Adept in handling invoice data, invoice discrepancies, and invoice processing. Experience in preparing invoices, posting invoices, and processing vendor invoices is required. Familiarity with scanning invoices, verifying invoices, and reconciling vendor statements.
