Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are in the process of recruiting a diligent Accounts Payable Clerk to be based in Miami, Florida. This role entails handling accounts payable, managing invoice processes, and maintaining vendor relationships in the telecom industry. This short term contract employment opportunity is ideal for individuals proficient in managing payable invoices, account reconciliation, and vendor relationships.Responsibilities: Ensuring accurate matching, batching, coding, and posting of accounts payable Overseeing the entire invoice process, from receipt to payment Conducting regular research and troubleshooting to resolve discrepancies and issues Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors Regularly monitoring the aging of accounts and taking necessary steps for reconciliations Coordinating weekly account payable activities to ensure timely and accurate payments Managing vendor relationships effectively, ensuring smooth operations Performing account reconciliation tasks and resolving any discrepancies Assisting in other accounting duties as required. Requirements Proficiency in managing weekly account payable activities Demonstrated skill in account reconciliation Experience in batching, ensuring efficient processing and tracking of payments Ability to handle payable invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments Experience in managing vendor relationships, ensuring good rapport and smooth transactions Knowledge of standard accounting principles and regulations Ability to work with accounting software and databases Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all financial records and transactions Problem-solving skills to resolve discrepancies and issues related to accounts payable.
