Description Robert Half is looking for a talented Accounts Payable Clerk in the Pembroke Pines area. The Accounts Payable Clerk has to have or pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration. Job Duties:
Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents to ensure proper authorization and documentation.
Accounts Payable Clerk needs to communicate with vendors regarding invoice discrepancies, payment inquiries, and other accounts payable-related matters.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Process check requests, employee expense reports, and other payment requests.
Accounts Payable Clerk must be able to prepare and process weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly payment runs, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire transfers.
Ensure compliance with payment terms, discounts, and credit limits established with vendors.
Assist with month-end close processes, including accruals and account reconciliations related to accounts payable.
Requirements
Job Qualifications:
Associates of Accounting, Finance or related field.
Bilingual; English and Spanish
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
1+ year in accounting role
