We are seeking a seeking a Line Cook. This role will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes using locally-sourced ingredients while supporting our mission of sacred hospitality and environmental stewardship. You'll work across multiple stations (grill, fryer, sauté, cold dishes) in our full-service restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You’ll join a culinary and front of house team that's dedicated to creating a destination dining experience centered around regionally-sourced, healthy, quality foods that honor both the land and local farmers.

Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation: Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Cook and Plate Dishes: Operate kitchen equipment (grill, oven, stovetop, etc.) to prepare and cook dishes. Ensure each plate is consistent with presentation standards.
Station Management: Take ownership of the assigned cooking station, ensuring it’s stocked, clean, and organized throughout the shift.
Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality, portioning, and plating.
Time Management: Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other cooks, kitchen staff, and servers to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Food Safety and Hygiene: Follow food safety guidelines and maintain proper sanitation and cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
Inventory Assistance: Assist in managing kitchen inventory, tracking waste, and alert management of any shortages.
Adaptability: Handle special requests, dietary restrictions, or modifications from guests.
Menu Development: always open for input on our seasonal menu changes or if you have ideas for ways to increase productivity in the kitchen, management is happy to hear them
Qualifications:
Experience & Skills: Prior line cook experience preferred but not required. Must safely operate kitchen equipment and work efficiently under pressure.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen workflows.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift 50 lbs, and work in fast-paced environment.
Personal Qualities: Strong communication skills, positive attitude, receptive to feedback, interest in sustainable food practices.

Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.00/hour
