Allcom Electric is seeking a qualified Low Voltage Technician. Most of the work is large multiunit residential new construction and renovations. Allcom is the largest renovation Contractor in the Western United States. We are looking for an energetic self-motivated technician with good communication, organizational skills, and strong customer service skills.
Duties Include:
Install, program, and troubleshoot CCTV systems, Access control, and Voice/Data systems
Able to install the proper cabling for the scope of work
Being familiar with Fiber, Coaxial cable (RG6/RG11), Cat 6/CAT 6e
Create and maintain drawings and accurate documentation on installation paperwork for all systems
Must have ability to solve problems as they arise
Aptitude to learn new technology as it changes
Fire Alarm experience is a plus

Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years experience with Low Voltage systems
Basic knowledge of construction and electrical wiring
Knowledge of NFPA 70 and local building codes
Basic Computer Skills – PC, Networks, Wireless etc
Fire Life Safety card is a plus
Must have a clean DMV record and pass background check
High School Diploma
Pass pre-employment drug screening
