RCA Integrated Systems is currently looking for candidates with experience in the AV / low voltage industry to fill positions for entry level low voltage Apprentice Technicians. Candidates must have a valid drivers license and their own vehicle to drive to the projects.

AV Technician Job Description:
This is a construction job with construction hours and conditions
- Executing projects per scope of work
- Install low voltage cabling in new construction and retrofit applications
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and tools on job sites
- Assist with organizing and removing material waste
- Assist with installing low voltage and audio video devices such as TV's, speakers, surveillance cameras, and network equipment
- Assist with system commissioning and system testing
- Communicate project progress and details around device installation that have cost or schedule impacts
- Install conduits and infrastructure that support low voltage cabling
AV Technician Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to follow instructions as directed by Lead Technicians, project management, and design team.
- Ability to read and understand electrical plans a plus
- Experience with power tools a plus
- Experience with conduit installation a plus
- Experience training apprentices a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel a plus
- Experience using and/or configuring network equipment a plus
- Experience configuring Home Automation control systems a plus
- Experience with Audio Video distribution systems a plus
- Experience with installation and configuration of surveillance cameras a plus
- Experience with installing, configuring and testing surround sound systems and projection systems a plus
AV Technician Job Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50lbs or more
- Must have a clean and valid drivers license and vehicle insurance
- Willing to work in crawl spaces and attic spaces
- Willing to work in hot or cold environments - Job sites in winter and summer months.
- Willing to trench and dig holes for landscape audio and video systems
- Must show up on time and tools on
- Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn new things
- Must be able to follow company policies
- Must be able adhere to company and job site safety policies
Full time positions include medical, dental, Simple IRA, Vacation and Paid Holidays after a 90 day probationary period.
