Seeking a Leasing Admin Assistant for Luxury Property Management Brokerage

Role Title: Leasing Admin Assistant

Location: In-Person Office in Kentfield

Part Time: 20-30 hours per week

Employment Status: Employee/Hourly + Bonuses

Benefits + Generous PTO for full time employees

Pay: $25 per hour, plus BONUSES ($100 - $500+/month) and Quarterly Profit Share ($1k - $3k/year, depends on performance) and a $750 SIGNING BONUS!

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, exact hours flexible (3-4 hrs on the weekend is required, can be Sat or Sun)

YOUR OPPORTUNITY:

You would be in a key support role for our property management team learning the business from the ground up, and a public-facing member of our company!

This Leasing Admin Assistant role functions in a support role showing properties as a “Host”, prepping marketing, running errands, picking up keys, coordinating lockboxes, changing batteries in smoke detectors, opening doors for vendors, photographers, agents and others; shooting video walk through tours for youtube, performing well visits for our propertiesand so much more!

You'll also be helping with the resident "move-in" process by performing detailed property inspections (2 -4 hours in length, we work with large, detailed houses).

Do you have handy-person type skills? Even better! We always have light bulb / smoke detector type tasks ready to rock.

This is a very hands-on role, with a lot of time spent in the field at properties or running errands. You'll learn more in six months on the job than you'll learn in any real estate course.

Advancement opportunities include promotion to full time Leasing Agent or Assistant Property Manager ($50k - $80k); Property Manager or Business Development Manager ($100k), or other sales or leadership roles depending on your strengths and personal goals…PLUS learning how to be a profitable real estate investor!

Applicants with prior property management or related real estate experience are preferred.

We'll also support your efforts to obtain a real estate license, get certifications, additional education in the field and more.

Our casual, dog-friendly office is based in Kentfield, CA, about 15 minutes over the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco. Exact schedule has some flexibility, but plan to be in the office in Marin 4 days a week minimum.

We are a technology dependent, virtually paperless office.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

Leasing Admin Assistant Responsibilities:

Showing properties as a “Host” (if non-licensed) or as a Leasing Agent (if licensed)

Assisting with marketing admin: ads, photo management, video walk throughs, etc

Performing Move-In Inspections with our digital software (lots of photographs and note taking, 2-4 hours each, 1-2 a week)

Running Errands for Properties in Marin and SF once in a while (lots of driving!)

Light Physical Tasks (like changing light bulbs, testing batteries in a smoke detector, replacing filters etc)

Providing Tech-Based Process/Admin Team Support (zooms, virtual checklists and process management)

Assist the PM Team with completing action items on designated checklists for on-boarding new tenants and turning over properties.

Documenting everything in writing and in our software!

Additional Duties:

Working in tandem with the PM Team daily within our virtual checklist system ensuring team processes are documented and up-to-date

Assisting with annual, recurring team projects as assigned

Assisting with special projects as assigned

Exercise care and discretion for sensitive client and/or employee info.

OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Show up on time, on camera for daily or weekly virtual ZOOM team meetings, as scheduled

Assist other team members in projects, as needed.

Help cover other team members listings as needed during sick/vacation/PTO or workload management.

Other items and tasks as needed to support our mission and long term outcome.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates with Some Previous Experience in Property Management Given Preference

Tech fluent

Reliable car + insurance

Able to work with minimal supervision

Comfortable in zoom meetings

Mobile phone

Able to perform Light Physical Tasks

Must be able to work a predetermined amount of dedicated hours per week

REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

This role DOES NOT require a real estate license (but we'll support you in getting one!)

COMPENSATION:

Hourly to start: $25/hr to start + Monthly BONUSES ($100 - $500+/month) and Company Profit Share ($1,000- $3,000 per year +/-)

PLUS for Full Time 30 hr/week+ Employees:

Total Annual Paid Time Off = 39 days (7.8 weeks) + Bonus Two Week “Sabbatical” option every other year
