We are looking for an efficient leasing specialist to advertise and lease vacant residential properties within our portfolio. The responsibilities include marketing, listing and showing the properties to prospective tenants.

We are a family-owned real estate investment and management company with properties in the East Bay (Hayward / San Leandro) and on the SF Peninsula (San Mateo/Redwood City). We have a growing small team that requires flexibility, diligence, and professionalism.

Job Responsibilities:

-Establishes rental rate by surveying the local market for rental rates.

-Attracts tenants by advertising vacancies, explaining advantages of location and services, and showing units.

-Contracts with tenants by negotiating leases.

-Update and maintain prospective resident contact database.

Job Details

-Flexible Work Schedule, weekends and evenings as needed for leasing.

-Work can be done in the office, onsite and from home.

-Licensed Real Estate Agents will have the opportunity to hang their license with the company for any sales or leasing transactions they bring in.

-Potential to grow into a full-time or part-time property manager role, depending on schedule and desire.

Compensation:

Flexible pay structure. Can be a combination of lease commission and hourly rate. Earn up to $1000 / lease, up to 20+ leases per year.

Opportunity to earn more for taking on more property management tasks based on your availability.

Discounted housing available at one of our apartment communities (up to ⅓ off rent).

Mileage reimbursement will be paid for the use of a personal car.

Qualifications / Skills:

-Motivation for sales and negotiation

-Problem-solving and critical thinking skills

-High level of organization and attention to detail

-Competence with office management software

-Professionalism

-Reliable Car

Education and Experience:

-Associates degree or equivalent experience preferred

-Competent computer skills, including office software such as Microsoft Office

-Previous sales or customer service experience is a plus.

-Real Estate License is not required but a plus.
