McCampbell Analytical, Inc. (MAI) is a full-service environmental analytical laboratory located in Pittsburg, CA (SF Bay Area). MAI specializes in the chemical analysis of soil, air, ground, drinking & wastewater samples with a focus on environmental contaminants such as hydrocarbons, pesticides, heavy metals, etc.
We are currently seeking a full-time, Sample Receptionist to add to our team. Must be available to work Monday thru Friday; 12 pm - 9 pm. The ideal candidate will possess a high school or equivalent degree, good basic computer skills, intelligence & the ability to work effectively in a high-paced environment and as part of a close-knit team. A scientific background is desired but not mandatory.
The position requires above-average communication skills, an exceptional ability to multi-task, and excellent attention to detail. Duties include: receiving samples following a chain of custody documentation structure, logging samples into our database in an efficient manner, preparing sampling kits for our clients, answering phones, greeting clients, plus many other miscellaneous office/lab tasks.
