I'm looking to temporarily fill a receptionist position through October as my office manager is on maternity leave. We're a creative architecture & design studio in an industrial area of San Jose. Some of our clients are very elite, so our ideal candidate puts professionalism first and approaches the position with a friendly, helpful, confident attitude.
Role & Responsibility:
Answer phone calls professionally. Be able to use our simple phone system to transfer calls and take messages.
Manage office calendar, including creating new meetings, adding Zoom links, and adding appropriate travel time and attendees.
Must have Microsoft Outlook experience.
Handle small tasks for staff, such as scanning and copying and mailing random things.
Expectations:
Come from a place of "yes" with a professional, can-do, upbeat, confident attitude
Dress professionally and put-together every day. Attire is business casual. No jeans, no hoodies, no sneakers.
Treat clients and potential clients with utmost respect. Make sure the office looks tidy when they come in.
Monday - Thursday 8:30-5:00. 32 hours per week. Must be in-office. No remote work. No recruiters. Employment through October (or until our Office Manager is back from leave.)
