We are a busy young family working in tech looking for an autonomous and competent personal assistant who can help with a variety of home, administrative, appointments, and delivery tasks, 5-10 hours a week, starting as soon as possible, lasting indefinitely.
This role is perfect for students or individuals seeking supplemental income and flexibility in their schedule. It is not intended to serve as a sole means of financial support. The pay rate will be $30-$35 per hour, depending on experience level.
Likely responsibilities:
1. In-person package deliveries, pickups from Facebook marketplace, occasional emergency dog walking
Identifying, prioritizing, and executing on house improvements (e.g. broken dishwasher, new knobs for kitchen cabinets)
2. Source, assess, hire, and manage schedule and payment for contractors for the home (electricians, plumbers, Taskrabbits, etc.)
3. Research and recommend services and products (e.g. recommend the best vacuum, or water filter, or find us a chef to deliver meals)
4. Researching travel options, finding gifts for friends
5. Liaising with financial advisor and executive assistant
Who you are:
Previous experience supporting an executive
Organized, plan ahead, detail-oriented
“Get shit done” and reliable, follow through a task to the end, outcomes-focused
Opinionated and take charge
Autonomous, resourceful, and independent
Savvy and can hack systems/red tape
Doesn’t have a ego about what you want to do
Communicative whilst being succinct
Have a car; willing to drive to Mill Valley for in person errands
Dog friendly
