Pacific Heights Family - Family Assistant / Mother’s Helper - 10-15 hrs per week [Great for a student!]
We are looking for an organized, inspired, self-disciplined, discrete, and effective family assistant to help us keep our house running efficiently. Great gig for graduate student looking for extra income.
About us: we are professional parents with two boys under three years old. We live in Pacific Heights and will be moving to Presidio Heights in the fall.
We are looking for someone wonderful to help keep our family thriving. We estimate 10-15 hours per week, expect most hours would be at our home or running errands. Flexible schedule.
Examples of tasks:
Returning packages
Keeping core baby products in stock (diapers, formula, wipes, etc.)
Assisting with planning birthday parties, dinners, and cocktail parties (incl catering, chef selection, bartenders, etc.)
Coordinating family mailings (holiday cards)
Helping to buy and send gifts
Assisting with move: inventory kitchen items, help with storage units, etc.
Organizing toys, tidying play areas and kitchen
Coordinate consignment and and donations
Pantry maintenance and some home organization
Sorting mail
No deep cleaning (we have a housekeeper). No direct 1:1 childcare required.
About you:
Experience as executive/personal assistant, mommy helper or house manager preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated experience with activities requiring organization and project management.
Organized, positive, good judgment and discrete.
High attention to detail.
Fluent in English, ability to drive or walk to run errands, legal to work in the U.S.
Compensation range $25-40/hour, commensurate with experience. (8 hour/week minimum)
