We are a friendly, easygoing young family working in tech looking for an organized, reliable personal assistant who can help with a variety of personal, house, and administrative tasks, 3-10 hours a week, starting as soon as possible, lasting indefinitely.
This role is perfect for students or individuals seeking supplemental income and flexibility in their schedule. It is not intended to serve as a sole means of financial support. The pay rate will be $30-$35 per hour, depending on experience level. We intend to be accommodating to your schedule/needs.
Likely responsibilities:
1. We just moved in - so source, assess, hire, and schedule contractors for the home (electricians, plumbers, Taskrabbits, etc.)
2. Research and recommend products (e.g. recommend the best vacuum, or water filter)
3. In-person errands, such as Amazon return drop offs or dry-cleaning pickup
4. Scheduling appointments, looking up flight options for family
5. Researching venues, ideas, planning for events like birthday parties
6. Bonus: we have a goldendoodle dog, very occasional dog walking, but not critical
Who you are:
1. Organized, plan ahead, detail-oriented
2. “Get shit done” and reliable, follow through a task to the end, outcomes-focused
3. High integrity and honest
4. Strong communication, and willing to “manage” family to move tasks forward
5. Has access to car; located near 94402 as there will likely be some in person errands
6. Dog friendly
7. Have some work experience
Other details: We have a toddler, but have a live-in nanny so will NOT expect you to help with anything child-care/pickup related.
