Let us help bring you into the office and to utilize your mastery skills in another way. We, A Advanced Septic and Construction Services (AASC) are looking to add a new Compliance Specialist to our team.

About the Position:

The Compliance Specialist in the Septic, Sewer, Drain, and Storm industry is a professional-level position responsible for conducting a wide variety of activities. This ideal candidate will determine compliance with the appropriate state and local regulations in permitting and inspecting onsite septic systems (OSS) and site reports in the county where services were provided. Filings with the county and state, Reads Pump and Site reports.

The ideal candidate has worked in Septic and/or Sewer, has worked in one or more roles, ready to come in from the field, and to work in an office position:

DSR/CSR

Field Technician

Waste Water

Septic Installer

Job Responsibilities:

Knowledgeable in Pierce, King, Kitsap, and Thurston County codes, by-laws, rules & regulations for the Septic, Sewer, Drain, and Storm

Competent in duties from reading septic designs (OSS) and As-Built drawings

Proficient in blueprint reading, comprehension, & execution

Coordinate with our Services Division, Project Partners, and Field Technicians to gather information for reports.

Gather and analyze data using data provided by the Service Division

Share data with the Washington State Department of Health and Counties

File timely RMEs with the State and County

OSS Records and Reporting

Inform landowners about corrective actions for septic repairs and about financial assistance available

Be an active and flexible participant

Collaborating with Field Technicians on identifying training and coaching opportunities for reporting accuracy (i.e., more/less details, verbiage, etc.)

Requirements:

Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in septic systems

Must have a current Pierce County Level 1 Pumper License

Must have a current Pierce County Level 2 Specialist License

Must be in process or current holder of King County Level 2 OSM License

Possess a valid WA state driver’s license

Pass motor vehicle record (MVR) requirements for driver insurance policy

MUST be a Minimum of 23 years of age (Insurability requirement)

Pass pre-employment DOT drug screen

Pass a background check

Eligible to work for any U.S. Employer and without company sponsorship now or in the future.

10-hour shift
