We are seeking a experienced and passionate Line Cook to join our team at Sammich, a renowned food cart offering delicious Chicago style sandwiches. As seen on “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives,” and more! our busy establishment, located next to Project 9 Brewery in Maple Leaf, is looking for a dynamic individuals to contribute to our success.
Responsibilities:
Opening and closing duties
Setting up/Breaking down the line
Prep work
Customer service and order-taking
Efficient in all stations on cart
Overall cleanliness, ensuring a hygienic work environment
Passion towards all types of food, bringing enthusiasm to the kitchen
Ability to lift 50lbs, contributing to various tasks that may require strength
Works well with other individuals in a smaller space, fostering teamwork and collaboration
Requirements:
Preferred: 2 years of cooking experience, But we are willing to train the right individual
Familiar with Square (point-of-sale system)
Ability to handle a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and multitasking skill
