Job Summary:
The Old European Restaurant in Pullman, WA is a family owned business that has been in business since 1988. This is a fast past breakfast and lunch venue known for its Scandinavian flare rooted in the history of our ancestors who brought with them their heritage from the Old World to the Americas. Through excellent food and excellent service, our goal is to bring a taste of our heritage to the tables of our guests.
We are looking for a well qualified individual who can ensure quests are presented with this quality experience through the careful management of other staff members, management of business logistics and all the workings behind the scene that makes for a great eating experience.

Basics of the job:
1. A working understanding of all positions within the business
2. Hire and train all positions within the business
3. Understanding & strategy of how to motivate team members
4. Exceptional customer service skills
5. Understanding of state laws and their systems with regards to state requirements for employment, hiring, food handling.
6. Ability to work effectively and positively with state agencies, according to policy and legal requirements
7. Food handler’s permit
8. Schedule & manage staff along with ability to problem solve staff challenges
9. This is a people business excellent people skills are a must!
10. Thorough understanding of food cost and its effects on the business

Minimum Requirements or Consideration:
1. 2+ years work experience in customer service industry
2. Food handlers permit for state of WA
3. Clear drug screen
