Early Learning Preschool Center is seeking a preschool teacher to work with 3-5 year old students in our small, center-based program located near downtown Burlington.
We have a fun program with a mix of play and teacher-lead curriculum. We have a huge back yard with gardens, roomy indoor space as we enroll under capacity, and lots of opportunity for teachers to create curriculum that includes their own interests and passions. Candidates must have some college coursework and/or experience in education, human development or a related field in order to meet state of Vermont requirements, or completion of the Childcare Fundamentals course. A degree is not required. Please inquire if you think you have coursework that may qualify.

Staff is paid for all school closure days (snow days, holidays) and sick days. To maximize staff and student well-being, we keep lower staff/student ratios than required, with a maximum of 8 students per teacher. Staff have the option of free enrollment for their own child, and choice of shift. We'll happily train someone who is a good fit.
