Insurance Authorization Coordinator

Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized RCM Specialist / Claims Analyst with a background in claims or laboratories. The successful candidate will focus on account clean-up, and should therefore possess strong data entry skills.Perform heavy account clean-ups while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.Conduct detailed review of claims and denials, assess their validity, and work towards resolving them effectively.Gather missing information and preserve important data necessary for the resolution of claims.Engage in dispute resolution and make necessary arguments to settle appeals sympathetically.Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth resolution of claims and other issues.Maintain comprehensive knowledge of billing guidelines and stay updated on any changes in order to ensure claims compliance.Requirements Previous experience in a similar role, preferably with a focus on claim reviews or in a lab setting.Excellent data entry skills, with an ability to organize and manage large volumes of data.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to articulate viewpoints effectively during disputes and appeals.Knowledge of basic medical codes and billing practices.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.The ideal candidate should be patient, diligent, and possess a knack for identifying discrepancies and solving them swiftly.TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
