Regional Training Manager

Job Responsibilities

Working as a Subject Matter Expert with the Dallas Office Training Design Team to create and/or update training programs (5%)

Validating learning retention (through Knowledge and Behaviors) of training courses/programs that are in pilot (new or existing status) (25%)

Preparing in-venue Training Manager for small/large-scale training rollouts (15%)

Assisting the New Venue Openings training team as new programs/courses rollout (5%)

Overseeing the implementation of training programs for existing and new Venues in their assigned region(s), verifying brand standard of training execution and ongoing training (25%)

Participating in the selection, onboarding, and ongoing development of the in-venue Training Team (15%)

Partnering with National Director of Operations and Director of Operations to listen, consult, and influence through data-driven recommendations to further enhance and development training programs in assigned region(s) (10%)

Critical Skills & Experience Requirements

HS Diploma (Req), Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or Human Resources Management (Pref)

3+ years extensive experience in the hospitality industry (Req)

3+ years extensive experience in the training industry (Req)

3+ years hospitality/retail leadership experience – leading a team (Req)

1+ year new location opening experience (Pref)

1+ year live facilitation experience (Pref)

1+ year virtual facilitation experience (Pref)

1+ year schedule writing with labor forecast influence (Pref)

Computer Skills – Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook), HotSchedules and Learning Management System

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to clearly convey essential information with cross-functional teams

Adaptable growth mindset, works well in an iterative environment, and seeks and welcomes feedback to improve results

Energized by the opportunity to work on varied projects, with the ability to be a strong utility player who can support and advance a range of key programs

Proactive thinker able to prioritize and lead multiple processes and timelines through a strong ability to plan, organize, and coordinate training rollouts

Use and demonstrate ability to facilitate materials to various audiences (Sr. Leadership to Hourly Playmakers), through multiple learning channels, and tools to support a broad array of learners and learning objectives, such as digital learning (videos, eLearning, online tools), virtual instructor-led training, instructor-led training, job aids, gamification, simulations, assessments, coaching, and mentoring

Diagnose training needs and work with the leadership team to prescribe an action plan to maximize Venue results (i.e., reduce turnover, foster internal growth, improve Player satisfaction results, and improve training completion). Then, follow with Venue leadership on progress to action plan.
