Join a values-driven firm where you’ll have fun while solving complex and interesting business challenges.The Regional Operations Senior Manager is an integral part of the Operations Field team and is responsible for the oversight and overall performance of the Operations support teams across multiple office locations within their assigned geographic region. Operations support teams include those team members tasked with operational management, administrative and office services/facilities support functions. This position partners closely with Operations team leaders, firm leadership and regional leadership (e.g. regional Partners, HR, Finance) to implement operations initiatives including developing effective and efficient administrative and facilities policies, leading firm initiatives, supporting regional goals and alignment with the firm’s strategic priorities.This role is responsible for promoting the adoption of new processes and technology throughout their teams and regions. Additional responsibilities include accountability and analysis of key performance indicators and operational guidelines to improve business operations and financial performance. Manage the overall performance and engagement of the region’s operational management, administrative support and office services/facilities functions which includes administrative support for Partner and Sr. Managers, office management, onsite maintenance of workplace technology, facilities, regional meeting and events, and document management

Oversee hiring, training and development, performance management and headcount distribution of regional administrative support teams to ensure optimal productivity and quality standards are maintained while meeting client expectations in terms of customer service, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness

Oversee all regional facilities including maintenance, local vendor management, workplace technology updates, remodel projects, relocations, and integration of acquisitions

Partner with regional, office and firm leadership to balance business needs and client expectations related to firm initiatives and process improvement, bridge gaps and recommend solutions in support of mutual goals, and act as trusted advisor

Maintain accountability to operational guidelines and standards; including but not limited to staffing levels, controllable expenses, and facilities maintenance standards

Lead and execute on firm initiatives, operational strategies, and process improvements for enhanced consistency, optimization of administrative teams, and process alignment across region and/or client groups. Examples of initiatives include introduction of new technology, updates to workplace strategy, and process changes for tax assembly and client financial statement preparation

Leverage change management methodology and tools to drive improved adoption, promote higher utilization of and increase proficiency of firm changes that impact assigned regions and teams

Accountability for maintaining operational expenses of the region within operational guidelines, partnering with firm Operations leaders to forecast staffing and operating costs

Ensure that best practices are shared with other regions, across departments, and location(s); enforces firm policies and procedures, advises on developing new processes where appropriate

Collaborate closely with firm Operations leaders to analyze cross department operations, evaluating service levels of teams, progress against goals, identifying individual training and development needs, provide growth opportunities and/or address gaps in employee/departmental performance

Manage and/or participate in special projects by developing and executing against plans, budgets, and timelines

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, emphasis in Operations Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred

Minimum of 10 years of Operations-related experience in a complex organization required; including demonstrated involvement with building and leading high-performing teams and fostering an inclusive culture; experience in professional services environment preferred

Strong executive presence and demonstrated leadership skills, good judgment, and ability to effectively interface with employees and leaders at all levels within the firm

Ability to quickly build relationships to influence the accomplishment of organizational goals

Strong depth of business knowledge; ability to be strategic and manage the details

Strong ability to understand problems, think critically, and identify creative solutions

Ability to implement and manage change, introduce new processes and systems to teams, and maximize adoption

Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to articulate complex issues to stakeholders and leaders

Organizational and project management skills with ability to direct, manage, and review the work of others

Ability to travel as needed, approximately 10-15%
