As a Billing Clerk, your duties will consist of reviewing bills and compiling data into spreadsheets and accounting software. This Billing Clerk opportunity is long-term contract / temporary, and based in the Chattanooga, Tennessee area.Responsibilities
Operate closely with other functional teams to certify data quality and consistency
Obtain missing or correct data when necessary, after evaluating billing documents and other data for accuracy and completeness
Evaluate, process, and review bills or invoices for services rendered
Construct financial procedures and controls
Requirements
Microsoft Excel experience preferred
Billing experience desired
Strong familiarity with Contractual billing
Command of Billing Statements
Excel Formulas experience highly desired
Ability to enter data into various electronic systems while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data
Bachelor's (BA/BS) degree in accounting or finance- Thorough understanding of spreadsheets, internet applications and ERP systems
1+ years of experience in a related role
Excellent communication and organizational skills
