Description Robert Half is representing a dynamic and impactful non-profit organization dedicated to making a difference in our community. We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to support a finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and assisting with other accounting tasks as needed. This is a full-time, on-site, contract / temporary position (estimated 3 months) with potential for hire. The position offers standard business hours, Mon-Fri 8am-5pm with a business casual dress code. Responsibilities:
Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently
Verify and reconcile invoices, purchase orders, and receipts
Prepare and process payments to vendors
Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Assist with month-end close processes
Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
Requirements
Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or similar accounting functions
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
Proficiency in accounting software (i.e. NetSuite, Sage Intacct, SAP S/4HANA Cloud)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Non-profit industry experience preferred
Knowledge of grant and funding resources
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
