Beaverton Dental Equipment & Services is looking for a motivated and experienced full-time bookkeeper with office manager experience to join our growing team. The Bookkeeper reports directly to the owner of Beaverton Dental and provides critical financial support and administrative functions to ensure the business operations are carried out effectively and efficiently. You’ll never be bored and each day will bring the satisfaction of a job well done!
The bookkeeper/office manager will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
● Using QuickBooks proficiently and online payment systems
● Processing invoices and payments (accounts payable and accounts receivable)
● Manage customer/vendor relationships over the phone and email
● Proofread professional correspondence
● Manage purchase orders, scheduling, and quotes
● Providing administrative support to other staff members
● Inventory tracking
● Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
● High school degree or equivalent
● One year of college-level accounting courses preferred, or equivalent experience
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must read and write English proficiently.
● Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate Excel skills
● Working knowledge of QuickBooks
● 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping
● 1+ years of experience in office management
● Attention to detail
● Strong organizational skills
● Applicant should be flexible and able to work in a non-structured environment
● Able to handle interruptions well, take initiative/self-starter
● Familiarity with industrial or construction environments preferred.
