Salary Range: $52,000-55,000, opportunity for bilingual pay differential

POSITION DESCRIPTION

IHI is looking for a mission-driven individual with effective communication, organizational and people skills. This position will work within the Asset Management team but will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders including IHI’s Resident Services team, Development team, and various property managers to: 1) elevate and address issues affecting resident satisfaction, 2) improve the day-to-day functioning and quality of IHI housing, 3) support partnerships and programming within IHI housing, 4) support and ensure compliance with various contracts related to IHI’s housing, and 5) assist with community outreach and communication (primarily to residents but also to external parties).

Job duties include:

Working with all IHI’s staff to advance the organization’s mission and goals, support an organizational culture where everyone can bring their full selves to work and thrive, and advance IHI’s work to become an anti-racist organization.

Supporting healthy, functional, and resident-centered housing throughout IHI’s portfolio.

Communicating internally with IHI staff and externally with property management companies to address building issues and resident concerns.

Developing, conducting, and analyzing resident satisfaction and safety surveys.

Developing Placekeeping strategies and supporting their implementation at IHI properties.

Supporting partnerships with other community organizations and service partners and facilitating IHI’s participation in special initiatives.

Compiling data and assisting with contract compliance and reporting.

Compiling and tracking demographic data for outreach and service needs.

Representing IHI at community meetings and supporting IHI’s community outreach efforts – this may require working occasional evenings.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and critically

- Lived or professional experience serving communities of color and other underserved communities

- Familiarity with affordable housing

- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within teams, solve problems, and achieve targeted outcomes

- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel

- Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
