Locally owned fast-paced trucking company looking for a person loves accounting! This position REQUIRES a minimum of 3 plus years of an accounting management experience. Must also have experience in the Online Version of Quickbooks and be familiar with all types of journal entries.
Duties include:
Entering Journal entries from Accountant from taxes into QB's for 3 entities
Communicate and prepare documents for accountants quarterly and yearly
Gather information to obtain Loans
Helping with Journal Entries to make loans balance
Future Financial Goals for 3 companies
Ensuring that an organization meets the necessary tax and licensing requirements
Collaborating with an executive team in establishing more effective processes and controls to ensure the integrity of a company’s ledger
Overseeing all financial control activities, including the review and analysis of monthly and quarterly numbers and disclosures
Providing executive management with accurate and comprehensive financial information to guide effective policy making and financial strategizing
Summarizing budget trends, analyzing deficiencies, and reporting variances to executives
Providing external auditors with the necessary documentation and support
Taking care of tax preparation duties or consulting with external tax accountants for tax pre
Accounts Payable Duties:
Vendor Set-Up
Prepare payables report
Managing bank deposits
Paying bills online
Reconciling
