The Facilities Commodity Manager will be responsible for supporting indirect procurement activities for the Facilities Project Management department and other departments as needed. The individual in this position is responsible for the execution and delivery of optimal value when meeting business requirements in addition to managing supplier relationships and performance. This is an individual contributor role and is required to be onsite 3 days a week.The Day-to-Day:This is an individual contributor role, though may have quick growth potential into a Manager Interact with internal customers to identify and implement cost reduction opportunitiesManage procurement process for facilities engineering equipment and servicesDevelop and implement effective sourcing strategies to ensure quality of serviceCollaborate with other departments of the organization to drive and lower total cost of ownershipBuild relationships with suppliers to position Wolfspeed as a preferred customerManage supplier quality, cost, and deliveryEffectively identify and manage cost savings opportunitiesThis Job is Right for You if You Have (Minimum Requirements):BS in Engineering, Business or Supply Chain related fieldA minimum of 3 years in strategic sourcing, procurement and contract reviewDetailed experience in contract review and contract languageDemonstratedexperience working in a self-directed environment and managing relationshipsEnergetic individual who can service a dynamic and exciting manufacturing and product lineExcellent analytical and negotiation skillsResponsive and good written and verbal communication skillsInquisitive nature, driving for improvementSelf-motivator with a desire to take ownership and manage a piece of the businessHighly organized and able to thrive in a fast-paced environmentThis role may require additional duties and/or assignments as designated by management.To put it legally – Wolfspeed is an equal opportunity employer.
