Description We are offering a role for a Business Analyst in Durham, North Carolina, United States. This role is primarily focused on building and developing reports and messaging, working with data sets, and collaborating with the Pharmacy department to generate clinical pharmacist reports. The position will involve extensive use of the MS Office suite, particularly Excel and Word. Despite this being an entry-level role, candidates are expected to have some experience of 1 to 2 years. Responsibilities: Utilize project management methodologies to plan project timelines and milestones, track progress, and communicate project status Recommend effective business process improvement initiatives Analyze, document, and report program performance results across the organization Manage and resolve conflicts as needed through effective communication plans and processes, aiming for a collaborative resolution or result within established time frames Implement program and process changes as necessary to support the intended goals/objectives Propose a variety of solutions to business issues/problems using appropriate analysis tools, such as Cost/Benefit Analysis and Flowcharting Assist upper-level management on special assignments, such as budgets, operating plans, and financial cost forecasts to support the objectives Oversee the daily implementation of the projects with regard to time frames, budget requirements, and quality Perform ad hoc financial and data analysis on high cost/low value medication use and prepare datasets for sending Prescriber Outliner Letters Ensure effective communication with the Pharmacy department and other stakeholders. Requirements Familiarity with business analysis and its best practices Proficiency in Office Functions, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Experience in creating and managing Documentation Strong planning skills and familiarity with Planning Processes and Budget Processes Understanding of Quality measures and Project Management Knowledge of About Time, Workstation Support, and Benefit Functions Experience in Hiring Processes Ability to Perform Ad Hoc Financial tasks and Implementation Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and ability to prepare Financial Notes Experience in Data Analysis Familiarity with Clinical Trial Operations and HealthCare.gov Knowledge of Pharmacy operations, if applicable Effective Communication skills Ability to set and meet Milestones Experience in preparing Datasets Ability to work independently and in a team Strong problem-solving skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Attention to detail Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.
