Join our client's dynamic and expanding multi-site practice seeking a personable and dedicated individual to fill the role of Ophthalmic Technician. We are on the lookout for candidates with outstanding customer service and patient care skills to become integral members of our team. This is a permanent temp-to-hire opportunity, and we welcome candidates from many different clinical backgrounds such as Medical Assistants, Patient Care Techs, Phlebotomists, and more to bring their skills to this fascinating specialty.
Key Responsibilities will include clinically rooming and screening patients, obtaining medical histories, answering patient questions and providing support, setting up instruments and preparing patients for visits with providers.

Travelling between 4 sites in a 25 mile radius (Gates, Irondequoit, Brighton, and Victor), you'll experience unique atmospheres and professional networking opportunities at each office location. This exposure to different facilities and patient populations will enhance your adaptability and broaden your skill set, making you a well-rounded and versatile medical professional!
Schedule Flexibility: Maintain a balanced schedule with flexibility to work eitherFull Time or Part Time between Monday through Friday. You will have an 8-hour shift between 7AM and 7PM with occasional rotating Saturday mornings, 8AM-12PM (approx. 3 times in a 6 month period).
Competitive salary ranging from $17 to $25 per hour, based on experience.

Minimum Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Medical Assistant or related clinical experience is required. Prior ophthalmology experience a plus, but not required!
