Our company has an immediate full time opening. This is NOT a work from home position. We are seeking an experienced Medical Biller with 1-2 years of experience (Primary Care preferred but not required); who is familiar will the key functions of billing to medical insurance companies. The successful candidate must have a good understanding of the medical billing process, including but not limited to following unpaid claims, resolving billing issues, and other accounts receivable tasks. The ideal candidate has a background in medical billing in an office or other health care setting, communicating with patients and health care providers via the phone and email, has an ability to work independently, is well organized, detail oriented, and has strong time management skills.
Primary responsibilities include:
Use of the phone, internet, and other communication tools to ensure accurate and timely information is keyed into the database.
Investigate and resolve unpaid claim issues within timely filing guidelines.
Talk with health care providers and their patients about account specific issues.
Work with supervisor to resolve difficult claim/account issues.
Demonstrates good computer and key boarding skills.
Demonstrates strong work ethics, time management, resourcefulness, and the ability to work independently.
Salary: Minimum of $21.00 - $25.00 per hour (experience and skill level considered)
