The ideal candidate will be instrumental in handling the administrative backbone of our real estate management. Key responsibilities include:
Bookkeeping Support: Precise data entry for financial transactions (e.g., rents, expenses), reconciliation assistance, and generating basic financial reports.
Document Management: Meticulous filing, organizing, and archiving of property leases, tenant records, vendor contracts, and financial statements (both digital and physical).
Office Administration: Managing general office tasks, inventorying supplies, handling correspondence, and ensuring a tidy and functional workspace.
Data Accuracy: Ensuring the integrity of all data entered into our various systems.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Experience: Previous administrative or bookkeeping experience, preferably within real estate or a small office environment.
Software Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential. Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) is a significant plus.
Organization & Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for accuracy in all tasks.
Communication: Clear and professional written and verbal communication abilities.
Reliability: Dependable, punctual, and capable of managing tasks independently within a flexible schedule.
Discretion: Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential financial and tenant information with utmost integrity.
Hours & Compensation:
Approximately 15-20 hours per week, with flexibility in scheduling.
Starting compensation: $20 per hour.
