Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Office Manager in New York. The role will involve managing office administration tasks, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and providing executive assistant support. This role is crucial in maintaining an organized and efficient work environment.Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring all processes are running smoothly and efficiently Handle office administration tasks such as vendor management and billing functions Manage executive calendars, schedule meetings, and arrange travel as needed Utilize Microsoft Office Suites, particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook, to perform various tasks Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly Greet and assist visitors upon their arrival at the office Ensure the office is well-stocked with necessary supplies and equipment Coordinate with various departments and external partners for smooth office operations Implement and maintain office policies and procedures to maximize efficiency Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.Requirements A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Office Manager or in a similar role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook. Experience in handling billing functions and office administration tasks. Strong customer service skills and a knack for detail oriented communication. Ability to manage vendor relationships and office supplies. Experience in managing calendars, scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings. Ability to handle travel arrangements for staff including booking flights and accommodations. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Good understanding of office management protocols and procedures. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information.
