Description We are in search of an Office Manager to join our team in the Amusement/Recreation Services/Entertainment industry based in New York, New York. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including guest registration, maintaining the office environment, and handling emails. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all aspects of the office including maintaining cleanliness and tidying up the office space. Handle guest registration for the building ensuring all guests are properly screened. Maintain the coffee machine, ensuring it is clean and functioning properly. Check and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner. Assist guests as needed, providing exceptional customer service at all times. Requirements Candidate must have proven experience in an office management role, preferably within the Amusement/Recreation Service/Entertainment industry. Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail are required. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for liaising with staff, vendors, and guests. Ability to multitask and prioritize work, demonstrating efficient time management. Proficiency in using office management software like MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Familiarity with basic accounting procedures will be advantageous. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills. Demonstrated leadership and ability to coach and mentor team members. Experience in customer service, particularly in assisting guests, is a key requirement. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. High level of professionalism and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. Excellent interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred.
