This is a long-term contract / temporary Accounts Receivable Clerk position and is based in the New York, New York area.Responsibilities· Work in property management software to include MRI, Yardi and ClickPay reviewing, posting and processing receivables for market rate, subsidy, rent stabilized apartments within the portfolio· Utilize Zendesk for ticketing, involves providing exceptional customer service via phone and email· Reconciling resident ledgers / accounts· Understanding of debits and credits to perform daily work · Portal (clickpay) for receivables to approve payments based on type of tenant that they have, lots of scanning to banks, customer service component,· Manual scanning of checks (receive packages)Requirements
Experience in accounts receivable preferred
Command of Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills
Knowledge of debits & credits
Adeptness in Collections
Customer service experience
Command of Accounts Receivable (AR)
Proficiency in Zendesk preferred
General familiarity with Yardi & MRI
Proven analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field preferred
Excellent attention to detail
Knowledgeable of ERP systems
