Held is seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable Manager with a strong focus on delivering exceptional service and superior work product to our clientele. Reporting directly to the Director of Billing & Accounts Receivable, you will be responsible for a team focused on receivables and collections on invoices of multiple projects across various disciplines from a diverse client list. JS Held is focused on learning and development and is continually looking to attract and retain top talent who are creative, self-motivated, and organized. We will only consider candidates with strong experience in Accounts Receivables and Collections. 10%-20% travel the Jericho, NY office is highly preferred. Job responsibilities:

Continuously drive an improved cash conversion cycle while maintaining excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.

Lead an international team of accounts receivables professionals including interviewing, hiring, performance management, & mentoring.

Set payment collection goals for the department.

Create and implement a strategy to improve the collection of outstanding invoices.

Communicate with key internal stakeholders to assist with appropriate accounts receivable efforts.

Prepare feedback reports on payment collections for CFO and other key stakeholders.

Resolve escalated disputes or complaints from our clients.

Assist with other duties and special projects as needed.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years accounts receivable or collections experience in an insurance environment.

Experience managing large, international teams of accounts receivables professionals.

ERP/proprietary software experience is essential, MS Dynamics 365 preferred.

Experience with third party payors.

Associate’s degree or higher in accounting or other financial discipline.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word including v-lookups and pivot tables.

Pleasant telephone disposition and effective communication skills with the ability to build and maintain good relationships with clients.

Well organized and detail oriented.

Proactive and able to make recommendations to improve invoicing and accounts receivable processes.

Must be able to work independently.

Must be able to multitask.

Experience with Bottomline technologies, T360 (Tymetrix), other client portals is a plus.

Physical and Mental Job Qualifications

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $110,000 - $140,000.
