Description This thriving company is seeking an Accounts Receivable (A/R) detail oriented to grow with them. If you're looking for Accounts Receivable work, this dynamic organization is filling a position with a noteworthy benefits package through Robert Half. As the permanent Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will work in the New York, New York region. Entering, posting and reconciling batches, researching and resolving customer A/R issues, preparing aging reports, placing billing and collection calls, maintaining cash receipts journal, and updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L will be essential for this role. Verify the correctness of documents and codes
Carry out, convey, and strengthen the mission, values and culture of the company
Reply to information requests from stake holders, including shippers, customers, and the sales/marketing department
Follow standard procedures to execute general accounting tasks
Correspond with clients to resolve payment issues and set up payment plans
Process payments and assemble segments of monthly closings and annual reports in compliance with GAAP
Enter and balance financial data in a number of ledgers while reconciling bank accounts

Be detailed, flexible, and organized
Current and relevant ERP system experience
Demonstrated analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field
Relevant experience in accounts receivable
