Collect, record, summarize and report accounting transactions consistent with generally accepted accounting principles for healthcare and not-for-profit entities.
Prepare reports and invoices in line with compliance requirements.
Assist management with the maintenance of the chart of accounts and sub-systems of the general ledger
Prepare financial information to be provided to internal and external auditors as well as other regulatory agencies
Develop, maintain, and distribute ad-hoc reports as needed
Provide cross coverage assistance to other accountants in the General Accounting department by learning day-to-day functions and act as substitute periodically
You are:

You have:
1+ years of experience in accounting
Accounting experience specifically with financial reporting and reconciling account discrepancies Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications especially in excel; experience with accounting software application a plus
