As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for account analysis and reconciliations, financial statement preparation and consolidation, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Build analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Participate in various department-wide initiatives
Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Achieve compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures and controls by working with business partners
Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Carry out monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP Requirements - BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are desired
Self-starter and strong ethical standards
Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent, and to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment
Current and relevant ERP system experience
Experience in SOX control execution/documentation
Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills
Remarkable analytical, quantitative and social skills
Proven ability to work and communication well with manager-level associates
Aptitude for analyzing financial data and generating accurate reports in a timely manner
Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines
This position is for candidates with financial reporting systems proficiency
Understanding of corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
5+ years of overall general accounting experience
Background working with Record Journal Entries
Good understanding of month end closings
Earlier work involving NetSuite
Prepare Journal Entries experience highly preferred
Adeptness in Month-end Journal Entries
Command of journal entries
Proficiency in Journal Entry
Ledger Journal Entries experience preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of Monthly Journal Entries
Journal Entry Preparation experience highly desired
Practical knowledge of Posting Journal Entries
General familiarity with Post Journal Entries
Solid understanding of Adjusting Journal Entries
