Job Description:
Openings available for Portfolio Associate, Real-Return Commodities at Pacific Investment Management Company LLC in New York, NY: Assist PIMCO with making informed decisions and solving problems by collecting and organizing information and analyzing said collected data to extract information. Ensure investment objectives are reflected across portfolios in scope. Monitor portfolio positions and products versus client guidelines in concert with Compliance team. Coordinate with Portfolio Management on re-balancing of portfolios. Utilize proprietary risk systems for monitoring of portfolio exposures. Assist in account transitions and cash flow management. Conduct performance and attribution data analyses, including ad hoc operational tasks. Respond to ad hoc requests from the Portfolio Management team. Review and process big data.
Minimum Requirements:
Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computational Finance, Mathematics, Economics or a related field and 2 years of experience in fixed income, including cash and derivative instruments. Must have 2 years of experience in each of the following: commodity markets; programming languages, including SQL, VBA, or similar; Microsoft Excel; and, portfolio risks and macro investment models. Experience may be gained concurrently.
We are offering a salary of $100,547 to $120,000 per year.
