Tropical Smoothie Cafe is EXPANDING on Long Island! We are currently seeking General Managers for Four Suffolk locations (Port Jeff, Yaphank, Riverhead and Shirley) and encourage all experienced General Managers to apply!

CAFÉ MANAGER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

 Monitors sales growth and cost control of the café against the budgeted expectations. Balances the staffing schedule to meet labor goals and completes payroll duties. Performs diligent inventory of products to maintain budget objectives.

 Maintains and exceeds customer expectations to build brand loyalty showing increased customer satisfaction.

 Presents a consistent, professional image of the café and crew by maintaining all sanitation and appearance standards. The candidate will also demonstrate Food Excellence with the passing of all Health, Food & Franchise Brand Standard Inspections.

 Communicates and stays updated on all marketing and promotional materials. Executes marketing and sales programs, following appropriate guidelines.

 Builds café sales by cultivating relationships in the business community and initiating local store marketing campaigns.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

 Minimum of 2 years experience in the restaurant or fast-casual field is required.

 Experience recruiting, hiring, training, and developing employees.

 Experience in growing sales and providing excellent customer service.

 Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence in both front of the house and back of the house.

 Must have a proven track record of managing the cost of goods and labor.

 Strong skills in understanding P&L reports and budgets.

 Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, and Excel.

 Effective organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

 Servsafe® Certification required
