Cornell Law School is seeking a dynamic and organized individual to fill the role of Administrative Assistant for Centers & Programs. In this two-year term position, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the success of faculty-led centers and programs while gaining valuable experience in a vibrant academic environment.This position is located in Ithaca, NY and is fully on-site with the expectation that the work with be performed 100% on the main campus. Responsibilities:As the Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting faculty-led centers and programs. Your responsibilities will include:Drafting Correspondence and Reports: Craft clear and professional communications, ensuring accurate and effective messaging.Event Coordination: Organize a variety of events and activities, contributing to the success of our vibrant academic community.Web and Social Media Management: Keep our online presence up-to-date by updating and maintaining various websites, social media accounts, and databases.Travel Coordination: Facilitate domestic and international travel for faculty, handling logistics and processing reimbursements efficiently.Calendar Management: Maintain calendars and schedule meetings, ensuring effective communication and coordination.Budget Monitoring: Keep a watchful eye on center and program budgets, assisting with funding-related tasks.Confidentiality: Handle highly sensitive and confidential materials and communications with the utmost discretion.Liaison Duties: Act as a liaison between the Center/Program and various entities within the Law School and Cornell University.HR Support: Collaborate with Law HR on job posting requests and contribute to the onboarding and training of new students and temporary/casual employees.This position is for a two-year term.
