Find your future with us.The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking an Engineering Specialist (Technician) located in Berkeley, MO.As a member of our team, you will be responsible for performing engineering support. This is accomplished through regular coordination and administration activities including: interface with various Boeing program organizations and Customer personnel, status reporting, and assistance with the implementation of engineering processes and release of engineering work products. This is a high visibility and fast-paced position that requires excellent outward communication, attention to detail, organizational navigation, and a collaborative drive to achieve program objectives.Position Responsibilities:
Understand engineering design and change management processes
Access and utilize engineering IT systems to input data and generate reports
Arrange formal meetings and technical reviews with Boeing, Suppliers, and Customers
Track and present status
Collaborate with engineers related to technical subject matter
Collaborate with customers and suppliers
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment.
An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
An Associates or Bachelors (Non-Engineering) degree
1+ years using Excel to perform data analysis.
1+ years editing PDF and Word files.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Attention to detail.
Excellent spoken and written communication across organizations.
