This position is responsible for providing assigned contract procurement duties and will be cross trained to be knowledgeable in all responsibilities required of BEP technical staff including but not limited to; the procurement and monitoring of program contracts, developing and implementing training programs, being a liaison to third-party rest area agreements, administering leased storage space, coordinating and directing equipment moves. The incumbent is expected to provide all aspects of vending machine repair services for BEP operators effectively and efficiently. In addition, this position will be the back up to the Lead Technician and Electronics Technician (BEP Technician).This posting may be used to fill multiple positions.Minimum QualificationsTo receive credit for your education and experience, your resume should clearly describe how you meet each minimum and/or preferred qualification listed, including dates of employment.One (1) year of experience working in the vendor machine industry including repairing and maintaining vending machines.Applications that meet the above minimum qualification will be further evaluated on the following:Experience providing technical training to others.Skill in human relations to build cooperative working relationships with clients and partners throughout the vocational rehabilitation process.Experience working with Microsoft Office Suites including Word, Excel, and Outlook.Incumbent must maintain valid driver's license, & insurance, OR have other reliable transportation. Travel arrangements can be made with drivers employed by State Services for the Blind upon request and depending on availability.Preferred QualificationsExperience working with the Randolph-Sheppard Business Enterprises Program.Knowledge of the Randolph-Sheppard Act and the rules and regulations that govern the Business Enterprises Program.Our employees are dedicated to ensuring cultural responsiveness.
