Responsible for managing event planning to ensure consistency with brand and corporate requirements across enterprise incentive travel programs with occasional support of conferences and strategic client events. Daily duties include strategic planning and collaboration with internal stakeholders, and the logistical and budget management of their events. This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a desire to drive successful and productive outcomes on a consistent basis.Primary Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end conference/event related planning that drive a consistent attendee experience, providing on-site support when needed

Develop, streamline, and create best practices, processes, and reporting, keeping the business goals and policies in alignment

Review and manage relationships with existing and potential vendors, ensuring mature utilization of existing tools and roadmap development

Provide ongoing work direction to Attendee Managers regarding registration, reporting, attendee communications and mobile app deployment

Understand and keep up with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies in both live and virtual environments. Be a resource and subject matter expert the team can rely on

Maintain and build strong working relationships with cross-functional peers while adhering to established RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) / workstream guidelines for conferences/events

Partner with key stakeholders to understand the goals and objectives of the events

5+ years of experience planning events in a corporate setting

5+ years recent experience with event technology (Cvent)

2+ years of proficiency in Microsoft office suite including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft PowerPoint, Teams

5+ years of experience in a deadline driven environment

Ability to travel 25% of the time for onsite event execution

Preferred Qualifications:

CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) Certification

Experience in a strategic meeting management function within a Fortune 500 firm

Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, manage projects and be highly organized

Able to assess complex situations and make decisions and/or recommendations across departments and functions

Confident in verbal and written communication with all levels of an organization, external partners, and vendor

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
