Build and maintain pipelines and data stores utilizing medallion architecture in an Azure Databricks environment

Manage security and data governance for data stores within Databricks utilizing Unity Catalog and Managed Catalog level security integrated within an Azure Active Directory integrated environment

Manage a team of offshore developers to support data transformation

Partners with the business to ingest data from old data sources into the new reporting platform

Execute and maintain the roadmap for migrating data into the IDR (Infusion Data Repository) platform, which includes working across the teams ensure all data needs are captured

Lead the weekly IDR progress calls

4+ years overall Azure Cloud Architecture experience

4+ years of experience with Big Data Ecosystem - Hive, Sqoop, Spark (RDD, SQL, Streaming), Kafka

4+ years of experience with Programming Languages Scala/Python

2+ years of experience with NO SQL Databases - HBase/MongoDB/Cassandra

2+ years Cloud medallion architecture design, development, best practices

Experience managing a team of offshore developers to support data transformation

Jenkins, Terraform CI/CD experience

Azure Data factory, pipeline creation utilizing meta data driven approach with parameters and variables to facilitate pro/nonprod development

Advanced knowledge of Databricks architecture and function, notebook, job, cluster design and development

Data Warehousing Design knowledge

Azure environment networking and security knowledge

Configuration Management - GitHub knowledge

Relational Databases - SQL Server/Oracle knowledge

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
