Growing together.Account Managers serve as a contact for the clients’ staff for management of day to day inquires between OptumRx and the client. They are primarily responsible for coordinating the activities of multiple internal departments to deliver best-in-class service to our client. They support the overall team with client retention and growth as a high performing individual with proven communication skills and a comprehensive understanding of the PBM environment.You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:

Act as an outward facing resource for assigned accounts

Build relationships with clients and serve as the primary point of contact for overall and day - to - day service delivery

Represent the client internally and coordinate with other functions to implement plan design, complete projects and address ongoing service needs

Provide regular communication to management on client concerns and feedback

Assist in client training for remote system access and reporting

Collaborate with multiple layers of management to ensure service delivery is accurate and ensure responses are completed on time and within scope

Oversee all PBM operational functions pertaining to day - to - day management of the customer

Assesses and interprets customer needs and requirements and represents both internally and externally

Identifies solutions to non-standard requests and problems and translates concepts into practice

Collaborate and communicate with internal business partners

Participate in team, segment, or organizational projects/workgroups

Serves as a resource to others

High School Diploma/GED (or higher)

2+ years of experience/understanding of competitive landscape and familiarity with pharmaceuticals industry or healthcare industry

2+ years of Account Management Experience

2+ years of experience with communicating with internal and external stakeholders

Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook

Intermediate level of proficiency with working collaboratively and influencing across a matrix environment to deliver financial goals

Preferred Qualifications:

Medicaid knowledge and experience

Operational Readiness experience

Project Management/implementation experience

ServiceNow experience

Soft Skills:

Prioritizing multiple tasks in a fast-paced production environment

Having an investigative personality who is interested in finding answers

Excellent communication, positive attitude and professionalism in dealing with and having exposure to both internal and external customers/stakeholders

Ability to work in self-motivated environment with limited supervision

Detail oriented

Ability to work independently

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
