Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, marketing and business development, with a proven track record of identifying opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a combination of management, leadership, strategic thinking, relationship-building skills, and the ability to execute on business development initiatives effectively.

Responsibilities:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market

research, networking, and outreach.

Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients, guests, partners, and stakeholders.

Collaborate with internal teams to enhance offerings and guest experience.

Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and partners.

Track and analyze key performance metrics to evaluate the success of business development efforts.

Stay up-to-date on industry trends and market developments to identify emerging opportunities.

Manage and collaborate with sales and creative team to implement projects, promotions, campaigns and provide

reports and analysis to achieve goals.

Develop and implement strategies to strengthen the company's market presence and unique voice.

Analyze brand positioning and consumer insights to help shape and communicate our vision and mission.

Skills:

Impeccable verbal and written communication skills.

Editing and evaluating finalized copy for compliance with policies, style, tone, voice and brand.

Familiarity with project management methodologies.

Problem-solving skills to propose mutually beneficial solutions.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe products.

Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects

simultaneously.

Be proactive, organized and handle work under stressful and uncertain environments.

Ability to think strategically and creatively to identify new business opportunities.

Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. In lieu of a degree, minimum 8 years of experience in a related field.

Proven track record of success in business development or sales roles, preferably in the tourism/hospitality industry.

Familiarity with the local community and relative industries including marine, tours/attractions, and tourism/hospitality.

Ability to work-full time in-office during regular work hours Mon-Fri 8am-4pm.

Willing to travel periodically (one to three times per year) interisland and mainland.
