Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented Executive Chef to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to assist in the growth and expansion of a very strong, established & growing successful upscale Italian restaurant/ gourmet pizza concept.The ideal candidate will be someone who possesses an owner/operator mentality and helps to create a culture and environment of professionalism and respect. They will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations and managing the kitchen staff in our multi unit concept with currently 3 locations and plans for additional growth. If you have a strong background in catering, inventory control, and culinary arts, we want to hear from you.

Duties Include:

- Uphold the standards, consistency and integrity of the brand

- Create innovative menu items and ensure high-quality food production

- Must have menu engineering capabilities

- Oversee inventory control and ordering of supplies

- Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment

- Collaborate with management to develop seasonal menus and specials - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

- Monitor food costs and work within the established budgets

- Responsible for vendor relations to negotiate best pricing

- Handle shift management duties effectively

- Able to conduct market research to understand industry trends

- Must possess a “maximum profitability” mindset for the business

Skills:

- Utilize culinary expertise to produce High end/ Upscale daily specials consisting of Seafood, Steaks & Chops, risotto etc. that showcase creativity and presentation skills.

- Strong leadership skills for supervising & mentoring kitchen staff

- Training & development of team members for maximum staff retention

- Excellent time management and organizational abilities

- Hospitality-driven mindset to provide exceptional guest experiences

- Knowledge of catering services and event planning

Annual Salary $85k-$110k (based on experience)
